Hey everyone, sorry to interrupt your Friday evening, or perhaps Saturday morning, but if you could spare a few moments for an announcement, I’d appreciate it.

I just wanted to let you know that after five years of putting in an incredible amount of work to produce these newsletters for you, I’m finally asking for a little monetary reward for that work, and I really hope you will offer your support.
I have been operating on a free plan with Beehiiv, meaning I can do the newsletter without paying them a fee, but now I think I’m going to upgrade to a plan that will cost me about $70 a month. This will give me an opportunity to get involved with their ad network, which might throw a few bucks my way, though not much, and will enable me to access a few other features on the platform that I currently can’t use with my free plan.
I know, I know, we pay for everything these days, and you’ve heard all the pitches from people who want you to buy their product. Here’s mine: If you’re subscribed to the newsletter, you’re a passionate Yankees fan, and you’re probably someone who really enjoys baseball. I think I give you a pretty good product with every newsletter I send out, and to give you an idea, now that I’m doing four per week, that ends up being around 11,000 words of analysis, stats, quotes, and some colorful ranting that I hope makes the reading entertaining.
What I’m asking for is $5 per month, or the bargain rate is $50 per year. Again, I know, we pay extra for everything these days, but if you really enjoy the newsletter, I would hope it’s worth the equivalent of a large coffee/one donut at Dunkin Donuts per month.
I want to keep growing this community, not only with the legacy Yankees coverage, but with additional newsletters such as the new Day at the Ballpark. I’m also starting a companion podcast called Pinstripe People which will be produced by the BLEAV Network that I do the BLEAV in Bills and BLEAV in Sabres shows with Buffalo sportscaster Adam Benigni.
If you can, please click the image below and just answer the one question I have: Will you pay for a subscription to Pinstripe People? Nothing is set in stone regarding this transition - it might not happen. But I want to get a feel for what you’re thinking. There are no repercussions. If you don’t want to pay, I completely understand, but I would like as many of you as possible to answer the question so I have a good data point.
I hope I did the survey question correctly and this works. I guess I’ll know shortly. I think you just click below, insert your email, click yes or no (yes, please!) and hit submit. Should take 20 seconds max.
Thanks for your time.
